This is to certify that PADMA BHUSHAN Awardee RAM VANJI SUTAR (Born 19th Feb.1925), an esteemed Indian sculptor, designed the STATUE OF UNITY, depicting SARDAR VALLABHBHAI PATEL (1875 – 1950), was an Indian independence activist and statesman, has a towering height of 182 m. and is mounted on a 84 ft. base, bringing the total height to 606 ft. and set a New World Record at Gujarat. The statue located in Sardar Sarovar Dam, Kevadiya, Narmada District, Gujarat, India, the Statue of Unity was inaugurated on 31st Oct. 2018 and stands as a symbol of national pride, unity, and continues to inspire the world.
