The fire is kindled using collected wood, maintaining the purity and authenticity of age-old cooking practices. This unique ritual is collectively performed by 52 officially registered families of the Gawade lineage.This rare and extraordinary ritual, carried out collectively by Gawade family members, represents a unique cultural heritage where devotion, tradition, and sustainability come together. By continuing this practice across generations, the Gawade family has created a remarkable record of faith and tradition, setting a new World Record on 29th August, 2025, at Nerur, Kudal, Sindhudurga, Maharashtra, India.
